Warsteiner Dunkel Review
I have been told that Warsteiner is considered to be a girlie beer in Germany, but I still think it is one of the better tasting beers you can buy from the LCBO. A few years ago the dunkel one was imported and was made available in most LCBOs. A can costs only $2.30 CAD and is 500 mL, not 473. That's not that big of a difference, but I do prefer the half liter cans/bottles.
The beer is dark brown, slightly nutty and a bit toffee like. It has a slightly bitter taste and a very pleasant, clean aftertaste that lingers for a while. I do enjoy the bold taste of this beer every once in a while and would recommend it to those who haven't had one yet.
Scores:
Cost - $2.30 CAD for a 500 mL can
Taste - 7.8/10
Overall - 7.8/10...good and cheap
