Another new fall 2010 LCBO product - Hop Nouveau 2010, a wet hopped pale ale. It retails for $5.95 for a 650 mL bottle.
The beer is light amber in color and pour with a short, lively head, which quickly disappears and never comes back. It has a sweet, floral, biscuity aroma with a lot of hops. The taste is hoppy and sweet, a little buttery with a nice floral and hoppy finish. Though it is quite hoppy, it is not very bitter, but just enough. Overall, this is a pretty enjoyable, though a little light, pale ale, which comes in a lovely 650 mL bottle.
