Mill Street Stock Ale Review
This is a new favorite of mine. I bought a 6 pack of this a few months back, for burgers I was making, and I was pleasantly surprised by its taste. This bottle is the last, 6th bottle, of the Mill Street sampler pack. A 6 pack of just the Stock Ale will cost you $12.55 CAD.
The back label says that the beer is made of only malt and hops, nothing else has been added. How does that taste you ask? Sweet, but just enough give some character to the beer. The finish is slightly on the bitter side and the aftertaste is very creamy. This is a light beer, perfect for a summer bbq. It has a lot more flavour than Corona-like beer I have bought, and is a lot more enjoyable to drink.
The Mill Street sampler pack is a fantastic purchase. If you can find one, get it, don't think about it. All 6 beers are fantastic.
Scores:
Cost - $12.85 CAD for the sampler pack and $12.55 CAD for a 6 pack of the Stock Ale
Taste - 8.1/10
Overall - 8.2/10...0.1 for the clean bottle look
