Golden Celt Crafted Ale Review

I know this beer has been out for a while because I have been passing by it every day...while sitting in the fridge. Having run out of other beers I decided to give it a shot.

The beer has a very clean amber color and pours with a creamy, lacy, well defined, finger thick head. Its bittersweet aroma can be smelled form a distance. Once up close, some sweet dried fruit, citrus and pine notes emerge and pull you in closer for a taste. The taste is fantastic with a mild hoppy start giving way to the fruits and pine along with some malt. The finish is bittersweet with hops, roasted malt, citrus and some pine. Overall, this is a very solid beer, but doesn't bring anything exciting to the table.

Scores:
Cost - $3.45
Taste - 7.9/10
ABV - 4.2%

Overall - 7.9/10...as stated, solid beer, but nothing unique or exciting
