Growers Peach Cider Review
OK, not quite a peach cider, but more a peach flavoured cider, but I will let this slide. Yes, another review and another cider. That is two in a row.
The cider has a champagne-like pale color and a strong peach aroma, which reminds me of peach schnapps. The taste is much lighter and definitely not as sweet as peach schnapps. It is crisp with a strong peach flavour at the start and an acidic apple one at the end. The peach flavour comes back in the aftertaste and creates a very pleasant and refreshing sensation. The 7% ABV is not noticeable at first, but half way through the bottle, one starts to notice the alcohol flavour and effects.
Scores:
Cost - $10.95 for a 6-pack...cheap!!!
Taste - 8/10
Overall - 8.1/10...crisp peach flavour with a nice sour apple kick at the end

I agree. It is NOT peach cider but rather peach flavoured. The 7% alcohol is a bit too much of a kick for a sweet cider that easy to drink too quickly. I'd rather have a lighter alcohol content.

ReplyDeleteHey Anonymous posting of Feb. 7, 2015 - maybe you should have been sober when you drank the half cup and you wouldn't have puked. Oh, and learn how to spell.
