Grolsch Lemon 2.5 Review

I know this review comes late in the summer season, but I was finally able to save a bottle. If you can't tell from the picture, the bottle is really small - 250 mL. Not only are the bottles small, but the beer is extra light, as in, it is 2.5% ABV. Get it now? Lemon 2.5? So yeah, during the summer months, these went down like water. And don't worry, the price is OK too at $8.95 for a 6 pack.

As you can see from the picture, the beer has a pale straw color. It pours with a thin, medium lively head. The aroma is that of regular Grolsch, and other similar lagers, with hints of lemon of course. The taste is sweet and lemony at the start, grassy in the middle with a very, very light corn/hoppy finish. Overall this is an OK summer beer, which can be made better with a lemon wedge, but ultimately, it lacks character.

Scores:
Cost - $8.95 for a 6 pack
Taste - 5.5/10

Overall - 5.6/10...I give it an extra 0.1 for the surprisingly decent taste because when I first got it, I thought it would taste horribly
