Grand River Brewing Highballer Pumpkin Ale Review

Grand River Brewing comes in a little late to the pumpkin beer game, but it comes with a fresh beer that was bottled very recently.

The beer has a light amber color and pours with almost no head. The aroma is absolutely fantastic with a spicy pumpkin scent that is not over top nor too bland. The taste is very well balanced and under all the pumpkin spice, the taste of true beer is noticed. The finish is also well done with the various ingredients coming together to create a pleasant malty, hoppy, spicy experience. If you can get past the cheap-looking label, this is one very pumpkin beer.

Scores:
Cost - $3.60 for a 500 mL bottle
Taste - 8.2/10
ABV - 5.2%

Overall - 8.2/10...if you see it and like pumpkin beer...get it
