Creemore Springs Kellerbier Review

No, it is not a new Creemore Springs beer, and yes, you should get some before it is completely sold out as it is a seasonal. At $2.95 CAD per can it is not the cheapest beer at the LCBO, but because it has been "Generously Hopped", it can compete with the imports.

The unfiltered Kellerbier is dark amber in color and pours with a medium head. A ton of hops on the nose with some subtler notes of dried fruits and biscuit. The taste is spectacular - hoppy throughout with complimentary fruity and spicy notes. The finish short to medium, warm and as equally hoppy as the aroma and taste. Fantastic, an absolutely fantastic seasonal domestic beer. I am not a huge fan of Creemore Springs, but this just blows me away. I will be going back to the local LCBO store to buy a few more.

Scores:
Cost - $2.95 CAD for a 473 mL can
Taste - 8.8/10
Overall - 8.9/10...I give it an extra 0.1 for the surprise factor

  1. This is one of my summer favourites. This is the second year Creemore has released this to the LCBO.
